Twin City Covid19 Update: 104 new positive cases in Bhubaneswar, 15 in Cuttack detected

Bhubaneswar: A total of 104 new covid-19 positive cases were detected under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area while 15 cases have been detected in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) limits in the last 24 hours.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 104 positive cases detected today, 30 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 78.

The total positive cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 19,601 while the total recovered cases rose to 1, 16,650 with the recovery of 175 COVID patients. The total number of death cases recorded in the BMC area is 1067.

Including today’s 104 positive cases, the BMC has 1863 active cases.

On the other hand, out of the total 19 cases registered in CMC area, 3 cases are from institutional quarantine, 8 cases are from home quarantine and 4 are local contact cases.

The total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 44,995, recovered cases are 44,318 (including today’s 15 cases) and active cases are 586.
