Twin City Covid Update: Bhubaneswar reports 96 covid positive cases, Cuttack reports 17 cases
Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 96 new covid positive cases on November 25. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 17 cases.
According to reports by BMC, out of the total 96 positive cases detected today, 19 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 77. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 19.
The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 20,898 while the total recovered cases are 1, 18,386. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1084. Active cases in the city are 1407.
Out of the total 17 cases registered in CMC on Thursday, 09 cases are from home quarantine, 06 local contact cases and 02 institutional quarantine cases.
Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,161 while the recovered cases are 44,524. The active cases today are 546.
In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 7 recovered cases informed while in Bhubaneswar 77 recovered cases were registered.
On the other hand, a total of 335 Covid-19 positive cases including 47 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours.
With 335 positives, the tally rose to 10,48,009 informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Thursday.
Among the 335 positives, 197 are quarantine cases and 138 are local contacts.
