Twin City Covid Update: Bhubaneswar reports 92 covid positive cases, Cuttack reports 13 cases

Bhubaneswar: As on November 30, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 92 new covid positive cases. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 13 new cases.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 92 positive cases detected today, 25 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 67. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 25.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 21,328 while the total recovered cases are 1, 18, 925. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1085.  Active cases in the city are 1297.

Out of the total 13 positive cases registered in CMC on Tuesday, 03 cases are from home quarantine, and 09 are local contact cases. On the other hand a single case of institutional quarantine was registered today.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,205 while the recovered cases are 44,585. The active cases today are 529.

In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 7 recovered cases while in Bhubaneswar 90 recovered cases were registered.

A total of 228 Covid-19 positive cases including 35 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours.

Among the 228 positives, 134 are quarantine cases and 94 are local contacts.
