Twin City Covid Update: Bhubaneswar reports 124 covid positive cases, Cuttack reports 18 cases

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 124 new covid-19 positive cases on November 20. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 18 cases.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 124 positive cases detected today, 35 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 70. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 35.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 19,922 while the total recovered cases are 1, 17,154. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1069.  Active cases in the city are 1678.

Out of the total 18 cases registered in CMC on Friday, 07 cases are from home quarantine, 07 local contact cases and 04 institutional quarantine cases.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,112 while the recovered cases are 44,466. The active cases today are 555.

In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 13 recovered cases informed while in Bhubaneswar 180 recovered cases were registered.

A total of 239 Covid-19 positive cases including 37 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,46,798 informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Saturday.

Among the 239 positives, 140 are quarantine cases and 99 are local contacts.
