Twin City Covid Update: Bhubaneswar reports 107 covid positive cases, Cuttack reports 13 cases

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 107 new covid-19 positive cases on November 19. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 13 cases.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 107 positive cases detected today, 19 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 88. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 19.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 20,384 while the total recovered cases are 1, 17,730. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1075.  Active cases in the city are 1558.

Out of the total 13 cases registered in CMC on Friday, 08 cases are from home quarantine and 05 local contact cases were reported. No cases of institutional quarantine were recorded today.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,094 while the recovered cases are 44,453. The active cases today are 550.

In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 15 recovered cases informed while in Bhubaneswar 98 recovered cases were registered.

A total of 242 Covid-19 positive cases including 45 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,46,559 informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Friday.

Among the 242 positives, 141 are quarantine cases and 101 are local contacts.
