Twin City Covid Update: 91 new positive cases in Bhubaneswar, 15 in Cuttack detected

Bhubaneswar: A total of 91 new covid-19 positive cases were detected under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area while 6 cases have been detected in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) limits in the last 24 hours.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 91 positive cases detected today, 27 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 64.

The total positive cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 122077 while the total recovered cases rose to 119852 with the recovery of 94 COVID patients. The total number of death cases recorded in the BMC area is 1088.

Including today’s 91 positive cases, the BMC has 1116 active cases.

On the other hand, out of the total 6 cases registered in CMC area, 1 case is from institutional quarantine, 2 cases are from home quarantine and 3 are local contact cases.

The total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45269, recovered cases are 44647 (including today’s 11 cases) and active cases are 504.
