Twin City Covid update:  81 and 17 new covid cases reported in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: The capital city of Odisha has registered 81 new Covid-19 cases on February 14. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded 17 covid-19 positive cases today

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), out of the total 81 positive cases registered today, 18 cases are quarantine cases while 63 cases are local contact cases.

With today’s development, the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,55,521. The recovered cases are 1,47,119. The total number of deceased cases is 1165. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 7216.

In the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) 17 new Covid-19 cases were registered. While 03 cases were Institutional quarantine cases, 6 cases were home quarantine cases. As many as 8 local contact cases were recorded today.

The total cases in CMC are 55,869 while the recovered cases are 55,163. Active cases today are 277 while the deaths are 429.

The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 920 and 52 respectively.

Odisha reported 859 fresh cases of Covid including 172 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Monday.

Reportedly, among the 859 positives, 503 patients are in quarantine, and 356 are the local contacts. There are as many as 11,324 active cases in Odisha.
