Twin City Covid update: 128 new cases reported in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack records 30 cases

Bhubaneswar: 128 new Covid-19 cases have been registered in capital city of Odisha on February 12. On the other hand Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded 30 covid-19 positive cases today

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), out of the total 128 positive cases registered today, 33 cases are quarantine cases while 95 cases are local contact cases.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,55,325. The recovered cases are 1,45,882. The total deceased cases are 1162. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 8260.

In the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) 30 new Covid-19 cases were registered. While 06 cases were Institutional quarantine cases, 13 cases were home quarantine cases. As many as 11 local contact cases were recorded today.

The total cases in CMC are 55,825 while the recovered cases are 55,022. Active cases today are 374 while the deaths are 429.

The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 920 and 36 respectively.

Odisha reported 1,539 fresh cases of Covid including 342 in the 0-18 years age group, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Saturday.

Reportedly, among the 1,539 positives, 897 patients are in quarantine, and 642 are the local contacts. As many as 13,285 Covid cases are still active in Odisha.
