Khordha: A tusker has been electrocuted to death near Golabai road in Khordha district late on Sunday night.
Reportedly, the wild tusker came in contact with an electrical transformer and died due to electric shock.
On getting the information, a team of doctors arrived at the spot to initiate an autopsy to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Notably, Forest staff at the spot guarding the movement of people in the area due to the presence of another wild elephant near the dead tusker.
