Kendrapara: Crime against girls and women continues to be unabated in Odisha with fresh such shameful report coming from Kendrapara district in which an 8-year-old girl was raped by her tuition teacher repeatedly.
The accused teacher has been identified as Ganesh Nayak of Ambapada village under Nikirai police limits of the district.
According to the IIC of Nikirai police station Gunamani Nayak, “Ganesh Nayak used to take home tuition to the class three student. However, he used to have physical relationship with her taking the advantage of the absent her parents. He had recorded the obscene acts on his mobile, which accidentally got transferred while Nayak was sending some documents to one of the locals yesterday.”
“The man who got the sex video featuring the tuition teacher and the minor girl informed about the matter to the victim’s family members, following which her mother filed an FIR against the accused at around 11.30 PM yesterday,” added the IIC.
“Based on the woman’s complaint, we have arrested the accused who confessed to his crime during interrogation. Besides, we have seized his phone and recovered the obscene video from his possession,” said Nayak further.
The accused is slated to be forwarded to the court after medical examination later today.
