Bhubaneswar: A transformer exploded near the OMFED square at Chandrasekharpur area in the capital city of Odisha today.
According to reports, the transformer exploded infront of the OMFED office main gate in which as many as four people have been critically injured.
On getting the information the local police along with the fire fighters arrived at the spot and doused the flames. The injured were rushed to the Capital Hospital for immediate medical treatment.
The reason behind the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
According to latest reports, the injured people have been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as their health condition deteriorated.
