Bhubaneswar: Train services in Nuapada-Gunupur route is all set to resume from tomorrow, according to the East Coast Railway (ECoR).
Notably, the railway service in the route was cancelled as the rail line suffered extensive damage in the Cyclone Titli and resultant flood. However, it has been repaired completely.
The ECoR in a press release informed that after completion of the snapped tracks initially an empty Engine was run over it and later a train on the repaired track on s trail basis.
The train services will resume from October 24 (Wednesday) on the route and Puri-Gunupur and Visakhapatnam-Gunupur passenger trains will run as per the schedule from tomorrow, the Railways said.
This apart it informed that the Rourkela-Gunupur Rajyarani Express will run regularly from October 28.
