Keonjhar: A number of people had a close shave after a trailer truck rammed into a roadside shop in front of the Sales Tax office in Barbil area in Keonjhar district last night.
The mishap took place late in the night while the truck bearing registration number-PB 13W 9130 was en-route to its destination and the driver lost control over the wheels. The truck ran into the shop to completely destroying it.
While nobody was inside the shop at night a major mishap was averted.
Police lodged a case in connection with the crash this morning and seized the truck to start an investigation.
The driver of the truck is absconding post the mishap.
