Baripada: Commuters were left in a state of panic on National Highway-49 on Duarsuni Ghati in Mayurbhanj district today morning after a trailer truck went on fire after dashing against another truck from rear.
The accident took place early in the morning while both the vehicle were en-route to Bangiriposhi with goods consignments and driver of the vehicle moving behind lost control over the wheels to cause the crash.
While both drivers escaped from their respective vehicles one of them sustained minor burn injury.
Fire officials from Bangiriposhi rushed to the spot later and brought flames under control.
Local police have seized both the vehicles and started an investigation into the crash.
