Koraput: A tragic road accident occurred near Ambili Ambaguda in Koraput of Odisha late last night in which five people are critical whereas seven have sustained injuries.
Reportedly, 12 people had gone to Jeypore on Sunday morning by a Bolero car and were returning back to Dasmantpur late in the night. The driver lost balance over the wheels as he could not see the road properly due to the headlight of the vehicles on the opposite road. As a result, the car fell off the road and turned turtle due to which five people sustained critical injuries while seven other got injured.
The locals immediately informed to the local police and helped the injured people.
On getting the information, Kakiriguma police arrived at the spot, rescued the 12 people out of the Bolero and rushed the injured to S L N Medical College & Hospital, Koraput.
The cops have initiated a probe into the matter.
