Kendrapara: The Kendrapara Town Police took gangster Syed Usman Ali alias Tito on Wednesday. The Kendrapara Town Police have taken him on a two-day remand following Kendrapara SDJM Court’s permission.
The cops are slated to question the gangster over the kidnapping of Sibaprashad Parida, a contractor and collection of extortion from him.
The Marasaghahi police of the district had taken the gangster on a one-day remand yesterday and questioned him over the murders of Raj Kishore Behera in 2015 and Aswajit Sahu alias Lulu in 2013 respectively.
Likewise, the Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch had taken him on remand in different phases to grill him on his criminal activities and financial trail.
The Economic Offence Wing (EOW) and Vigilance of the Crime Branch are also investigating different cases where Tito is involved.
