Titli Effect: Job aspirants stuck at Bhubaneswar Station following railway test cancellation

Bhubaneswar: Causing hundreds of railway job aspirants to land in an unpleasant situation and remain stranded at Bhubaneswar Railway Station, the Railway Department cancelled its Group-D exam in view of cyclone ‘Titli’ which hit the Odisha coast last night.

As per the report, Group-D examinees were on their way to Bhubaneswar to appear in the examination when got cancellation news of the test last night. After alighting the trains at the Bhubaneswar station they had to spend their time on platforms due to cancellation of several return trains.

Notably, the Indian Railways Group-D examinations at the Bhubaneswar centre had to take place for two days on October 11 and 12 at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Khurda and Berhamapur.

In its notification the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) said the revised dates of the test will be announced later and will be communicated to the aspirants on their registered mobile number and e-mail soon.
