Kalahandi: A tiger skin has been seized by the officials of Kegaon Forest Department in the Kegaon forest range in Dharmagarh of Kalahandi district this morning.
Acting on a tip-off, the Kegaon Forest Ranger officials conducted a raid and intercepted the wildlife criminals when they were trying to sell the tiger skin and seized the skin.
The officials also detained one person from the spot who has been identified to be a resident of Jharkhand.
A probe is underway and the poachers are being questioned as to reveal further details in this matter.
