Bhubaneswar: The city-based Regional Meteorological Centre issued thunderstorm warning for six districts of the state today.
The afternoon bulletin of the weather department said that one or two places of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Balangir, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore districts likely to experience moderate thunderstorm/lightning and light rainfall with gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph between 1.15 pm and 4.15 pm.
