Bhubaneswar: The Excise department today arrested three persons including two women ganja dealer with 50 kgs of dry cannabis in the wee hours near Tamando NH in Bhubaneswar.
The arrested persons has been identified as Sabital Digal (30), Mamata Digal (35) and Surath Behera (45).
Acting on a tip-off, the Excise department while patrolling intercepted a Tata Ace pick-up van and while searching the van they seized 50 kg of Ganja and arrested three persons in this connection.
The ganja was illegally being transported from Phulbani to Bhubaneswar.
The vehicle has also been seized by excise department and further probe is underway.
