Rayagada: In a tragic incident, as many as three persons died and one youth went missing while bathing in Badanal dam in Odisha’s Rayagada district during Holi on Tuesday.
The deceased persons have been identified as Suresh Chaudhary , Abhishek Kumar and K Barun Achary of Padampur in the district.
Sources said, the youths drowned in the dam near Padampur when a group of people were taking bath after celebrating Holi festival.
On being informed, local police and fire tenders reached the spot and fished out three youths in a critical condition. The youths were rushed to Padampur CHC wher the doctor declared them brought dead.
Search operation is still underway to find the missing person, when the last reports came in.
