Dhenkanal: Police today arrested three persons in connection with the gang rape of a married woman at Landipoliya village under Motonga Police limits.
The accused have been identified as Subash Nayak, Asish Kumar Sahoo and Chatur Sahoo.
As per reports, the woman was sleeping in her house when the three accused youths barged into her house and outraged her modesty on Tuesday late night. The victim has lodged a police complaint on Wednesday.
“We have conducted a medical examination of the victim and the accused as well. The accused have been forwarded to the court,” said a police official.
