These 3 Odisha Districts To Experience Heat Wave

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) have issued heat wave alert for three Odisha districts- Khordha, Cuttack and Nayagarh on Friday.

The IMD in its latest bulletin said the districts of Khordha, Cuttack and Nayagarh will experience heat wave during the next 48 hours.

The weather department have also issued Yellow Warning to seven districts of Odisha.

Apart from the heat wave, light to moderate rain or thundershower is also likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Koraput and Gajapati between March 27 and 28.

Day 3: Light to moderate rain or thundershower likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Gajapati and Ganjam

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj,Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur.

Day 4: Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Ganjam, Gajapati and Kandhamal

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak.
