Keonjhar: Tension prevailed at Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital today morning after a woman died under treatment and her family members alleged negligence on the part of the staffs and protested.
As per the report, the victim identified as one Khirodini Patra of Naranapur village had been rushed to the DHH last night following a sickness. However, her condition started deteriorating by today morning and needed oxygen administration.
As per the allegation of the family members of Khirodini despite repeated approach, no doctor turned up to fix oxygen to the patient due to which she succumbed a few minutes later.
Relatives of the victim created a ruckus for hours at the DHH demanding action against the guilty doctors.
Police rushed to the spot to maintain law and order of late.
