Bhadrak: A 19-year-old youth has been killed in a road accident near Sukadevpur square in Basudevpur in Bhadrak district, while another 22-year-old has sustained critical injuries on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Satya Prakash Sethi son of Sahadev Sethi of Kaithkhola village in Chandbali block while the injured youth is Shantanu Sethi son of Rabindra Sethi of the same village.
Reportedly, both the youths were on their way Bhadrak late last night on their bike. Unfortunately, they lost control over the wheels and their bike hit with an electric pole on the roadside.
The locals immediately rushed both of them to the Bhadrak Hospital for medical treatment. However, Satya Prakash lost his life while they on the way to hospital.
Meanwhile, Shantanu is under medical treatment and the cops have initiated an investigation into the matter.
