TDP MLA Murder Case: Dreaded Maoist militia leader Dambru Khila arrested in Odisha

Koraput: In a major breakthrough, Odisha’s Koraput police has arrested dreaded Maoist militia leader Dambru Khila in connection with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao and ex-MLA Siveri Soma murder case.

Briefing the newsmen about the arrest of the militia Koraput SP Kanwar Bisal Singh said, “The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Team is probing the TDP MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao and ex-MLA Siveri Soma murder case that took place last year. As per their requisition, we have detained a suspect hardcore militia. We have seized two mobile phones from him. We will had him over to the NIA team for further investigation. His name is Dambru Khila.”

Notably, Rao and Soma were killed by a group of Maoist at Araku valley in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh-Odisha boarder on 23 September 2018.
