SWCC Meet clears 3 Projects worth Rs 1,188 Crore

Bhubaneswar: The Single Window Clearance Committee (SWCC) held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi has cleared three projects at the cost of Rs 1,188 crore. The projects will create 2,716 jobs.

The first project approved was Emami Paper Mill in Balasore. Rs 650 crore will be invested for the expansion of the unit, which will employ 1,750 people in total.

The Ambuja Cements will set up a mixture unit in Jharsuguda at the cost of Rs 430 crore. Govt will provide 125 acres of land for the project. It will create 300 job opportunities.

In addition, Surya Food & Agro Ltd will establish a biscuit factory in Khordha at the cost of Rs 108 crore, which will generate 666 jobs.
