Yesterday, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) filed an affidavit about temple affairs before the apex court as directed.

Sources said, the SJTA, in its affidavit, mentioned that the visitors will have a hassle free experience in the shrine and the offerings made by them will not be misappropriated. Besides, as many as 88 CCTV cameras have been installed in the temple premises in this regard.

In the last hearing June 8, the court had ordered that there should not be direct collections of donations by the servitors. It also asked the concerned authorities to install CCTV cameras inside the 12th century shrine for better management.
