Bhadrak: The Vigilance sleuths conducted raids at various places of Supervisor at Child Development Project Officer’s (CDPO) office in Bhadrak district of Odisha this morning. The Supervisor has been identified as Mallilata Das.
Reportedly, there were allegations against Mallilata with Balasore Vigilance SP of being involved in several illegal activities and possession of disproportionate assets to her known sources of income.
Following this four Vigilance teams comprising two DSPs, seven Inspectors and other staff, as ordered by Balasore Vigilance SP, conducted simultaneous raids at four places in Bhadrak, including her residence in Aradi, her office and her maternal house in Ambroli.
Till the last reports came in, one five storeyed building and one four storeyed market complex at Samraipur, Bhadrak, two plots, one four wheeler and one two wheeler have been unearthed so far. Various documents were being checked for several anonymous assets. The raids are underway and further details are awaited.
