Bhubaneswar: Schools across the state will reopen tomorrow (June 21) informed School and Mass Education Department Secretary Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra on Thursday.
“With the onset of monsoon and improved weather condition, the government has decided to advance the school reopening to June 21,” he said.
The schools were earlier scheduled to reopen on June 26. However, it has been preponed due to changed weather conditions.
Noteworthy, this announcement comes after the Odisha Government decision to extend the summer vacation for all schools till June 25, in view of the intense heat wave which was prevailing across the state.
