Bhubaneswar: A day after joining, senior leader Subash Chauhan appointed general secretary of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and party observer for four districts of the state.
BJD State Secretary Bijay Nayak, in a press note, informed that BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has appointed Chauhan as party’s general secretary and observer of Kalahandi, Bolangir, Bargarh and Sambalpur districts.
Notably, the senior leader and former national convenor of the Bajrang Dal, Subhash joined the state ruling party on Wednesday after being denied the Bargarh Lok Sabha ticket by the saffron party.
