Cuttack: As many as two hostel boarders of the Ravenshaw University in Cuttack city of Odisha have tested positive for COVID-19.
The UG and PG examinations which were scheduled to be conducted by the university from March 25 have been postponed for an indefinite period. A meeting will be held at the university today to discuss and reschedule the exams.
According to reports apart from these two cases, eight more Covid positives have been detected from various places of Cuttack city.
The contact tracing of the Covid positives is underway, said sources.
Furthermore, the district administration has issued guidelines to be followed in view of the rising COVID-19 cases. The celebration of the upcoming festival of Holi will not be allowed in public places. More than 20 people will not be allowed to gather at religious institutions.
