Students of SCB Medical College Extend Support To Protesting VIMSAR Doctors

Cuttack: The Students Association of Cuttack’s SCB Medical College and Hospital has lend support to the protesting juniors doctors of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla in Sambalpur.

Expressing solidarity, the SCB medical students took out a procession inside the hospital premises. They staged a peaceful demonstration using placards, showing support to their VIMSAR counterparts.

The students also warned of intensifying their agitation if action is not taken against VIMSAR director Ashwini Pujari.

Meanwhile, the State Health Department had sent a four-member team to VIMSAR Burla on Monday to investigate the allegations against Pujari after receiving instructions from Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal.
