Cuttack: Tension prevailed at the premier law education institute of the State the Madhusudan Law College this morning after an inmate was found hanging in his hostel room.
The deceased has been identified as Ajit Kumar Sethi of Kishorenagar area.
Ajit who was pursuing his LLB course from the college was spotted hanging to the ceiling of his room early in the morning. They immediately called up police and informed about the matter.
Police rushed to the spot and seized the body for autopsy.
While the cause behind the extreme step of the student is yet to be ascertained police have started investigation into the incident.
