Special Trains For Migrant Workers In Odisha Run From Today

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway will run special trains from Odisha today to enable the migrant workers return to their respective outstation workplaces.

According to Railways sources, these special trains will start from Khordha Road to Gujarat and will halt at Berhampur station in Ganjam.

Prior to this, Behrampur station has been thoroughly sanitised in order to keep it free from infection.

A total of 16 trains, both to and fro will run. While Puri-Ahmedabad, Puri-Okha and Puri-Gandhidham Express will run from Khordha Road station, the Bhubaneswar-Durg, Bhuneswar- Ahmedabad and Vizag-Corba trains will run from Bhubaneswar, informs Kaushalendra Khadanga, Chief PRO Of ECoR

Puri-Ahmedabad Express will run from Khurdha Road every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6:40 pm and leave Ahmedabad at 6:40 pm every Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Puri-Okha Express will leave Khurda Road every Sunday from September 13 at 10:40 am and leave from Okha every Wednesday from September 16 at 9:30 am.

Puri-Gandhidham Express will leave Gandhidham every Wednesday at 11 pm from September 14 and leave Khurdha Road every Saturday at 11.40 am from September 16.

Earlier, it was announced that Bhubaneswar-Durg-Bhubaneswar special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 7.55 pm on September 12 and from Durg at 4.10 pm on September 13.

Visakhapatnam-Korba-Visakhapatnam via Rayagada will leave Visakhapatnam at 8:05 pm on September 12 and from Korba at 4:10 pm on September 13.

Bhubaneswar-Ahmedabad-Bhubaneswar will leave Bhubaneswar at 6 pm on September 16 and from Ahmedabad at 6.40 pm on September 18.
