Puri: Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam and his wife Madhurima visited the Jagannath Temple in Puri on Tuesday to seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath.
The singer arrived at the helipad in Phulbani dressed in a kurta and a traditional shawl scarf with his wife. The couple then left for Puri. Taking to Instagram, the singer wrote-

Off to Bhuvaneshwar
Dressed for
Shri Jagannath Puri temple

Overwhelmed during the Darshan

Calling his visit “overwhelming” Nigam also shared a video of the Grand Road (Bada Danda) and the Singhadwara. Sharing the video, he wrote- “Built by Anantvarman Chhodganga Around a Milenium Ago The Energies of Billions of Worshippers over the last 10 Centuries, still Shakes one up inside. #magic #faith #bliss #pilgrimage”
Notably, this is Sonu Nigam’s second visit to Odisha in a week. Despite being hospitalized following a food allergy, the singer had performed at a live musical concert in Koraput’s Jeypore on February 5.
