Snatchers Strike Again, Take Away Mobile Phone From Girl In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In yet another snatching case in the capital city, two miscreants snatched away a mobile phone of a girl on Monday evening.

Reportedly, a girl was returning from her office and walking down the streets near Buddha Park in Niladri Vihar last evening.

At this moment, two looters came on an Activa scooter, pushed him, and snatched her mobile phone. There after, the snatchers fled away from the spot.

Although the girl chased them but was unable to catch hold of them. She immediately lodged a complaint with the Chandrasekharpur police.

The cops have initiated an investigation based on written complaint.

Earlier this month, a youth was attacked and looted in CRP area of the capital city. As his health condition deteriorated, the victim has been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

The victim was identified as Deepak Roul from Belguntha area of Ganjam district.

Three bike borne miscreants attacked the youth with knife in the early morning when he was waiting for the bus in CRP area of the capital city. They snatched away his mobile phone and cash money after attacking him with knives. The loot take place when the youth was proceeding towards Salia sahi area.

As a result of the attack the youth has sustained critical injury in his hand and neck. As his condition deteriorated he was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment.
