Small time vendor found hanging inside sub-collector’s office in Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: Tension prevailed in Dharamgarh area in Kalahandi district this morning after body of a small time vendor was found hanging on the premises of Sub Collector’s office.

The deceased has been identified as Bhudev Bagarti.

The incident came to light after some locals spotted Bagarti’s body inside the office and called up police. A pair of slippers and a plastic stool was found near the spot.

While police have sent the body for postmortem it is still not clear under what circumstances the deceased took the extreme step.

On the other hand some locals have claimed that Bagarti who was making his living by snacks near the office had committed suicide over a family feud.
