Jharsuguda: In a sad development a poor man from Jharsuguda district of Odisha has reportedly been living in a toilet for the last one year. After his wretched cottage got destroyed in rain last year the man has taken shelter in a toilet constructed under the Swachha Bharat Yojana.
As per reports, Jogendra Nikhuntia, a daily wage labourer from Jampali village in Bhikhampali panchayat under Lakhanpur block of this district was living in a cottage which got damaged last year due to rain and so he is living in the toilet.
Both the State and Central government have many plans to help out such poor citizens. However, though Jogendra has ration card he is still not able to get the PDS stuff as there is a mistake in his Aadhar card for which the Supply Department has denied him to issue any ration.
