Malkangiri: In a shocking incident a 13-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped by her father under Kalimela police limits in the district on Monday.
The victim has lodged a formal police complaint on Wednesday. “The incident took place on Monday when I was returning from my maternal uncle’s house with my father. He stopped the motorcycle near a forest and raped me there. He also threatened me of dire consequences if I told anyone about the matter,” alleged the victim.
The victim, however, narrated the entire incident to her mother who took her to the police station and lodged a complaint. Police said that they have started an investigation after getting the complaint.
