Sheetal Sahu Crowned ‘Miss Odisha’, To Represent State In Miss India 2019

Bhubaneswar: Odisha girl Sheetal Sahu was crowned ‘Miss India Odisha 2019’ at the grand finale of FBB Colors Femina Miss India East 2019 held at Esplanade One Mall in Kolkata on Wednesday.

Sheetal, who hails from Gunupur in Rayagada district, will now represent the state of Odisha at the FBB Colors Femina Miss India 2019 beauty pageant to be held in Mumbai on June 15.

Sahu is a software engineer by profession. She is an alumnus of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla, Sambalpur and has completed her high school from SLNM High School in Gunupur.

Notably, three girls from Odisha namely Tamanna Vyas, Sheetal Sahu, and Arupa Rath had made it to the East Zone round of Odisha auditions.

However, it was Sheetal Sahu who bagged the coveted title of ‘Miss India Odisha 2019’, succeeding Shrutiksha Nayak who had won the title last year.
