Bhubaneswar: A youth has brought sexual harassment allegation against renowned Odishi dancer and dance mentor Saswat Joshi. He has claimed himself to be one of his associates.
The youth has alleged that Joshi had unnatural sexual relationship with him. He even claimed that the mentor has even touched his private parts and assaulted him.

He further alleged that during dance rehearsals Joshi even beats his students for committing mistakes. And later he talks sweet and forces them to sleep with him. Even girls have faced the same fate. However, nobody wants to complain about it due to fear.
After the matter propagated on social media, Saswat Joshi denied all the allegations. He said that the allegations are completely false. He said that he very well know the value of Guru-Sishya tradition. And hence he has been able to create many students.
Saswat Joshi has lodged a complaint with Lingaraj Police against 11 students and programme associates for trying to malign his image.
