Angul: The district police bused a sex racket in Geeta Gram and arrested four persons including a couple here on Sunday.
According to sources, Angul police, acting on a tip-off, conducted a raid in Geeta Gram and nabbed the accused and rescued two women, who are said to be natives of Sambalpur area, engaged in the flesh trade. Police also recovered Rs 50,000 and many objectionable items from the spot.
The couple along with their two college-going sons was running the sex racket by paying the women for the last several months. However, the incident came to light only when some locals came to know about it and informed the police, added the sources.
The arrested persons will be forwarded to the court while the rescued women will be sent to a short stay home, informed the rouses.
