Jharsuguda: Sadar Police busted a sex racket running in the guise of a lodge cum hotel at the Panchapada bypass here in Odisha on Wednesday, intimated Jharsuguda SDPO.
As many as three persons including the owner of the lodge have been arrested in this connection. They have also been forwarded to the Court. Police also rescued a girl from the spot. She is from Nadia district of West Bengal, Police said. She has been kept in the shelter house.
Acting on a tip-off, a special police team conducted a raid on June 28, on the lodge from where the sex racket was allegedly operating and caught 2 customers and a girl in compromising position in a room. While the owner of the hotel managed to flee from the scene, he was later arrested, Police said.
