Bhubaneswar: In a crackdown on immoral trafficking, the Commissinerate Police busted a sex racket in Khandagiri area on Sunday to arrest three customers and rescue an equal number of girls engaged in flesh trade.
A special team of Commissionerate Police which raided the brothel which was running inside a rented room of a hotel clandestinely also seized several objectionable materials along with cash from the spot.
While three customers have been taken into custody from the spot the kingpin of the racket managed to escape and efforts are underway to trace him, said police.
The owner of the hotel where the sex racket was running has been detained for questioning.
