Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate police busted a sex racket operating at a posh residential area in Nayapalli here in Odisha on Thursday.
On a tip-off, the Nayapalli police conducted a raid at Plot No N5/97 of Nayapalli in the city and rescued three sex workers from the spot. The police also seized some objectionable materials during the raid and arrested three persons including two customers and the house-owner Druti Charan Mohanty in this connection.
Police said that the sex racket was operating under the guise of a physiotherapy centre. However, a sign board in the name of “DRM infrastructure – from dreams to reality” was put up in front of the house.
A case has been registered at Nayapalli police station against the arrested persons under relevant section of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
