The Dhenkanal town police got a reliable tip-off and raided the Station Bazar area under the Town Police limits in Dhenkanal district.
The police caught a man and two women and seized a car from their possession. Two others managed to flee said police sources.
This is the second time that the man identified as Shivaji has been arrested for running a sex racket in Dhenkanal. The man was allegedly bringing women from Balasore and engaging them as sex workers.
The sex racket was being run from a residential area of Dhenkanal. The police have launched a probe in this connection.
