Severe heatwave in Odisha for next 5 days!

Some parts of interior Odisha are likely to experience abnormally hot weather with record temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius and above.

Bhubaneswar: During the next 4 days, there is a possibility of significant variation in the day temperature in the state informed the Official Twitter handle of Meteorological Centre, situated here in Bhubaneswar.

The temperature is likely to increase in the next few days, said the recent weather bulletin.

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that some parts of interior Odisha are likely to experience abnormal weather with record temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius or more for the next five days.

Many places in Odisha will record temperatures of over 40°C said the latest report of the local MeT office.

Odisha is reeling under hot and humid conditions since the past few days. Sambalpur is the hottest place in the state of Odisha and recorded 43.2 degrees Celsius by 2:30pm.

The other places such as Jharsuguda recorded 42.4 degrees Celsius, Hirakud-41.6 degrees Celsius, Keonjhar-37.8 degrees Celsius, Bhubaneswar-37 degrees Celsius.
