Malkangiri: Senior clerk caught red-handed while accepting bribe. Shashi Shekhar, a senior clerk in Kalimela tehsil of Malkangiri district of Odisha has taken a bribe of Rs. 50,000.
The senior clerk has been caught on camera while accepting a bribe for issuing record of rights ‘patta’ for a land. He was slated to issue a land which was illegal in nature.
Few months back, a Revenue Inspector (RI) and clerk of the same block were caught by vigilance while taking bribe and were suspended by the District Collector of Malkangiri.
