If you have PhD or Doctorate degree, then you can take advantage of SBI Bank’s offer. Actually, State Bank of India has sought applications for doctoral research fellowship from Indian citizens who have done PhD. Online applications were sought from the bank from September 18, which is still in progress. However, now only 2 days are left for their online registration.
The contract will be for 2 years
After being selected in the fellowship, every scholar will get one lakh rupees every month from the bank as a stipend. For this, a 2-year contract will be done by the bank. If you also want to take advantage of this fellowship, then you have only 2 days from now. If you want to take advantage of this offer of the bank, then submit your application by October 8.
Know the application conditions
According to the bank, a hard copy of the online application should be available by October 15, 2020 to SBI’s corporate office in Mumbai. Please tell that for applying for fellowship, you should not be more than 40 years of age on 31 July 2020. At the same time, this program will have a contract period of 2 years. Currently 5 vacancies have been taken out by the bank for this program. Candidates for the fellowship will be selected through shortlisting and interview. The interviewee’s call letter will be sent via email.
PHD should be in these subjects
The bank selected scholar candidate can be sent to the State Bank Institute of Leadership, Kolkata. Applicant must have PhD in banking, finance, IT or economics related subject. Apart from this, his academic record should also be better.
If a paper is published as a writer or co-author in A Category Journals, then the applicant will be given priority. Candidates should have at least 3 years post qualification experience in teaching / research work in IIM, IIT, ISB, XLRI or their equivalent Institution or Consultancy.
How to apply
SBI will bear the expenses of attending an international and a national conference of the fellows. Copy of documents like birth certificate, educational qualification certificate, experience letter, ID proof will have to be uploaded while applying online.
Candidates will have to register by going to https://bank.sbi/careers and https://www.sbi.co.in/careers to apply. Your photo and signature will have to be scanned and uploaded.
